The latest album by an official subgroup of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation topped iTunes albums charts in nine Asian regions on Wednesday after being released online a day ago, the group's management agency said.

"Holler," the second mini-album by Girls' Generation-TTS, also known as TaeTiseo, was uploaded on major music websites Tuesday at noon and rose to the top of iTunes albums charts in nine regions -- Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Brunei -- S.M. Entertainment said.

"Holler," the main song on the album, is also high up on iTunes pop albums' charts in other foreign countries: second in Finland and Japan, third in Sweden, ninth in the United States and Canada, and 11th in Australia.

At home, the title song is at No. 1 on real-time charts of eight online music services.

The song's music video is scheduled to be out later Wednesday while the album is scheduled to hit record stores Thursday, according to the entertainment agency.

"Holler" is the first album to be released by the subgroup composed of three Girls' Generation members -- Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun -- since 2012.
