JTI Korea has launched a new capsule-type cigarette that has multiple flavors, the local unit of the Japanese tobacco manufacturer announced on Tuesday.

The new product, named “Mevius Option2” is the latest addition to JTI’s popular Mevius lineup.

Each package contains 15 cigarettes with “cooling pop” menthol capsules embedded in the filter and another five cigarettes with double capsules that add a tangy flavor, the company said.

JTI Korea noted that the new product is designed to allow consumers to experience up to four different kinds of flavors: from the general flavor to menthol or refreshing tangy or mixed.

The Mevius Option2, which went on sale on June 18, contains 6 milligrams of tar and 0.5 milligrams of nicotine, and is priced at 2,700 won ($2.65) a pack.
