Main ingredients:

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion
  • 50 grams young garlic chives
  • 1/4 bell pepper (optional)
  • Seasoning ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cooking wine
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 4 tablespoons plum syrup (or substitute with oligosaccharide)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions:

Score the tomatoes after washing them.

Cut the garlic chives into 4 cm lengths and thinly slice the onion and bell pepper.

Mix all seasoning ingredients in a bowl.

Combine the chives, onion and bell pepper with the seasoning mixture.

Stuff the seasoned mixture between the scored sections of the tomatoes.

Place in an airtight container and let it ferment for about a day before serving.
