  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 3 sticks string cheese (or mozzarella cheese)
  • 1/2 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt
  • Cooking oil

For decoration:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sheet seaweed
  • 2 strands fried pasta
  • Sliced almonds
  • Some carrot and parsley

(Makes 8 pieces)

Instructions:

Finely chop the onion and bacon. Cut the string cheese into thirds.

Heat a pan with cooking oil and stir-fry the onion and bacon for 2 minutes.

In a bowl, mix the warm rice with the stir-fried onion and bacon, curry powder, sesame oil and salt until evenly combined.

Shape the rice mixture into small balls and stuff the string cheese into the center, forming them into round rice balls.

Beat the eggs and cook a thin egg sheet over low heat. Use the egg sheet and the remaining decoration ingredients to create bee shapes on the rice balls.
