Actor Park Hae-jin kicked off his Asia tour with a fan meeting in China at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium on Saturday, the public relations company HNS HQ announced Tuesday.
The event was to celebrate the Chinese video platform Youku’s launch of tvN’s drama series “Cheese in the Trap,” in which Park plays the male lead.
About 3,000 international fans attended the event during which Park presented an array of programs for over two hours.

Park also enacted romantic scenes from “Cheese in the Trap” and interacted with fans by answering questions about his plans for marriage and behind-the-scenes episodes of the drama series.
“Cheese in the Trap” started airing on Youku on May 19 and it has already had over 36 million views.
Meanwhile, Park is scheduled to hold fan meetings in Taiwan on June 9 and Thailand on July 31.
