The most notable is AmorePacific chairman Suh Kyung-bae. With his company’s stock price rising daily, Suh’s stock value was 9.35 trillion won as of Monday, a 53.9 percent increase from the beginning of the year.
Suh is the second-most stock-rich person in Korea after Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Kun-hee. Stock values have declined for most of the nation’s top 10 stock-rich.
