Summer bingsus at W Seoul Walkerhill


W Seoul Walkerhill’s Woo Bar is presenting special bingsus for the summer season. The Original Woobingsu is made with marshmallows, rice cakes and ice cream and topped with bean flour. Green Tea Woobingsu has a chewy texture and green chocolate decorations. Tropical Woobingsu is made with coconut ice cream topped with tropical fruits such as mango, raspberry and pineapple. Berry Woobingsu has a soft texture and is made with strawberry tiramisu. Chocolate Woobingsu is made with marshmallow and chocolate brownies. Cocktail Woobingsu is made with red and white wine jellies. Three types of special summer desserts will served as side dishes as well. Premium Echire Pancake at The Plaza

The Plaza’s boutique cafe and bar The Lounge is presenting the Premium Echire Pancake as its new signature dessert. Limited to 15 pancakes a day, this special pancake is made with organic flour and the premium butter Beurre d’Echire. This special butter is certified with the AOC seal by the French government and produced only in the Loire valley. Made through a strict fermentation of raw milk, Beurre d’Echire boasts a unique taste and texture. It’s loved by many Michelin star chefs and is widely used by five-star hotels in Japan. At The Lounge, guests can order the special pancake dish with a choice of salted or saltless butter. The pancake is served with 4 kinds of syrup and a cup of tea or coffee as well. Lombardian Cuisines at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Italian restaurant Il Ponte is presenting cuisines from Lombardy for the month of June. Lombardy is a region located in northern Italy with Milan as its capital. Lombardian cuisine is typically made with saffron, polenta, peppers, potatoes and pumpkin. Butter and cream sauces are used frequently as well. The hotel’s restaurant offers a five-course menu featuring signature Lombardian dishes such as pumpkin cream soup with parmesan cheese, buckwheat fettuccine with potato, sea bass with carrot and spinach and red wine sabayon with walnut ice cream. The course menu is priced at 91,000 won, including tax and service charge. On weekends from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the restaurant hosts a pizza-making session for children as well. Japanese brunch at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s Japanese restaurant Akasaka is launching a Japanese-style weekend brunch buffet for the first time in Korea from June 7. The brunch will feature over 60 Japanese foods. Smooth steamed egg custard, natto, steamed rice, porridge and vegetable salad are available at the homemade food station; while green tea soba salad, salmon dadaki, egg custard and fried noodles are featured at the appetizer station. A selection of sushi, yakidori and grilled and pan-fried dishes can be found at the tepanyaki station; while dorayaki, macaroons, pancakes and pumpkin cakes are available at the dessert station. A variety of Japanese-style drinks are available at the buffet as well. The brunch buffet is priced at 99,000, including tax and service charge. Single Malt Whiskies at Park Hyatt Seoul

Park Hyatt Seoul’s live entertainment bar and restaurant The Timber House is presenting four types of special Malt Whisky tasting menus. The 18-Year-Old Tasting Set includes glasses of Macallan 18-year-old, Glenfiddich 18-year-old and Highland Park 18 year old. The Speyside Tasting Set features signature whiskeys from Speyside including Cragganmore 12-year-old, Benromach Organice, The Glenlivet 18-year-old and The Belvenie 21-year-old. The Macallan Tasting Set features 21-year-old, 25-year-old and 30-year-old Macallan malts. The “Limited Edition Tasting Set” features the Glenlivet Nadurra which was newly launched in Korea this year, limited edition of the Balvenie 17-year-old and Glenfiddich 19-year-old, one of the exclusive 50 bottles imported to Korea.
