Indonesian feast at Oakwood Premier Coex

Oakwood Premier Coex Center Seoul is presenting a promotion for Indonesian delicacies from Oct. 17 to 31. Authentic Indonesian dishes will be served at the Residents Lounge. Guests will be able to taste Indonesian dishes from various regions of the country, including Java, Sumatra and Bali. Executive chef of Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta, Deden Sherman, will be visiting Seoul for this event. He will be introducing a variety of popular Indonesian dishes including gado-gado (vegetable salad with peanut sauce), mee goreng (fried noodles), nasi goreng kampung (fried rice), soh buntut (oxtail soup), and sate ayam (chicken satay). Halloween desserts at Hyatt Regency Jeju

Hyatt Regency Jeju will welcome the coming of Halloween with signature dessert sets and drinks from Oct. 26 to Nov. 2. Halloween-themed deserts will include Jeju pumpkin roll cake with cream cheese, Halloween popcorn balls, and Jeju pumpkin cookies. Also, special drinks such as a Halloween-themed cocktail, Kiss with a Vampire, will be presented to guests at the Atrium Style Island Lounge, located in the hotel lobby. Special promotion for whisky lovers

In celebration of the opening of the Westin Chosun Seoul’s Private Library, the Lounge is offering a special whiskey-pairing menu of single malt whiskey and special tapas until Nov. 30. Guests will also be able to enjoy live jazz music Monday to Saturday, from 8 p.m. to midnight. Three kinds of Scottish single malt whiskies -- Singleton 12 year, Oban 14 year, Dalwhinnie 15 year -- and five kinds of special tapas can be enjoyed for the price of 60,000 won. Guests who visit during happy hour (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) can enjoy unlimited amounts of single malt whiskies included in the special pairing menu for the price of 100,000 won. Tour Incheon with Hyatt Regency

Hyatt Regency Incheon launched the Explore Package on Oct. 15 which allows guests to tour destinations around Incheon. The package includes a night’s stay in the hotel, with complimentary use of the sauna, fitness center, shuttle bus to Incheon International Airport and more. Guests can choose between a temple tour and city tour. The temple tour will go to Incheon Metropolitan City Museum, Heungryun Temple and the Memorial Hall for the Incheon Landing Operation. The city tour will include viewing Korean traditional houses in Wolmi Park and exploring the open port. For foreign guests, the programs will be conducted in English. American food festival at The Plaza

The Plaza’s Seven Square restaurant, an all-day dining and buffet restaurant, is presenting a festival showcasing food from North and South America. Menus will include mac and cheese from the United States, locrio de pollo, fried chicken rice from the Dominican Republic, enchiladas from Mexico, curanto, a seafood soup from Chile, and asado, traditional barbecue from Argentina. Desserts will include homemade desserts made from seasonal ingredients including red velvet cake, custard layered cheesecake, fig pie, and corn grits bun. A special chef‘s table service will also include a menu compiled by the chef. Weekday lunches are 80,000 won and dinners are 85,000 won.
