A man running a brothel in Busan was charged Friday for the attempted murder of a gang member who had habitually assaulted him.

The man surnamed Chung, 37, reportedly stabbed Lee, 34, in the abdomen and back on a street in Buk-gu, Busan. The incident occurred on April 5 in the early hours of the morning.

The victim, Lee, a follower of the Jang Cheol group, had harassed Chung and demanded money or valuables from him on frequent occasions, it has been revealed.

Police say that Chung planned to kill the gangster to get revenge.

Chung was arrested in Gupo Station on June 4 after police received intelligence he was running from Jang Cheol gang members out to get revenge.

자신을 괴롭히던 조폭에게 보복한 男 결국

부산경찰청 광역수사대는 22일 나이 어린 조직폭력배에게 폭행당한 것에 대해 앙심을 품고 그를 살해하려 한 혐의(살인미수)로 보도방 업주 정모(37)씨를 구속했다.

정씨는 지난 4월5일0 오전 1시30분께 부산 북구 한 노래주점 앞길에서 폭력조직 ‘장철파’ 추종세력 이모(34)씨에게 흉기로 복부와 등을 찔러 살해하려 한 혐의를 받고 있다.

경찰 관계자는 정씨는 자기보다 나이 어린 이씨가 금품을 요구하고 말을 잘 듣지 않는다는 이유로 폭행을 일삼자 범행을 저지른 것으로 보인다고 밝혔다.

경찰은 장철파 조직원들이 보복하기 위해 정씨를 찾아다닌다는 첩보를 입수, 수사에 나서 지난 4일 도망다니던 정씨를 구포역 앞에서 검거했다.
