Korea’s tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. topped the list of the most admired companies in the country, marking the ninth consecutive year it has clinched the top spot, a survey showed Monday.

The company ranked first, followed by leading steelmaker POSCO and Yuhan Kimberly Co., the country’s largest maker of diapers and feminine hygiene products, according to a poll by the Korean Management Association Consulting.

Samsung Electronics has kept its top spot since 2004, when the consulting, certification and research agency began to conduct the poll.

This year’s survey was conducted on 10,310 experts and consumers between October of last year and January. The respondents answered questions spanning six categories including capacity to pursue innovation and shareholders’ value.
