While he is known for his multitude of talents, Lee Junho once again proved himself to be a highly skilled singer at his two-day solo concert in Seoul, his first in five years.

After completing his mandatory military service in March 2021, Lee focused on his acting career, taking part in projects like the hit TV series “Red Sleeves” and “King The Land,” where he played the charismatic male leads.

On Sunday, almost 11,000 fans filled Jamsil Indoor Stadium for Lee’s solo concert, “The Day We Meet Again.” The two-day solo gig comes on the heels of Lee’s arena tour in Japan in July and August. Following his Japan tour, Lee held fan meetings in eight Asian cities.

Lee appeared on the stage in a thick mist, singing the Korean version of his Japanese song, “The Day We Meet Again,” accompanied by a live band. It was the first time Lee revealed the Korean version of the song.

Following an intense performance for “Pressure” and “Hyper,” complete with laser and LED screen effects, Lee welcomed fans by asking “Did you miss me?” Fans cheered enthusiastically in response, waving their hands.

"This year is my 16th year as a singer, my 11th as a solo artist, and also my 11th as an actor. Still, this concert is the most meaningful event for me. I'm also proud that I filled all the concerts with songs that I wrote and composed," said Lee.

For over three hours, the singer performed 25 songs, including “Nobody Else,” “Don’t Tease Me,” “Love Song,” and “Ride Up.” Performing both Japanese and Korean songs, Lee mesmerized the audience, sometimes with his heartwarming voice and at other times with his skillful dance moves.

Junho also shared personal stories related to his songs, recalling how he had composed them. He explained that "Darling" is a song meant to express his gratitude to his fans for always supporting him during difficult times. He also introduced "Fine," which he wrote after his cat died. "I've found a lot of comfort in writing these songs. It's a blessing to be able to record my feelings and emotions through the lyrics and melody."

At the end of the performance, a surprise birthday cake was prepared for Junho, whose birthday is on Jan. 25. Junho stepped down from the stage and performed an encore close to the audience.

“I’ve been busy, performing as a group, as a soloist and as an actor. It wasn't easy to do all of these things. But thanks to the fans who always gave me a lot of support, I was able to manage them all. Thank you so much.”
