The committee will also meet Wednesday with officials of companies held accountable for the damages, including Reckitt Benckiser Korea, also known as Oxy, and SK Chemical, a process which may possibly extend to a future visit to Oxy’s U.K. headquarters.

Rep. Woo Won-shik, the chairman of the committee and lawmaker of The Minjoo Party of Korea, had met the the U.K. ambassador in Korea last week to ask for arrangements and support for the visit, which is currently slated for late August, officials said.
