KB Financial supports young athletes

KB Financial Group is in the spotlight for supporting young Korean athletes as part of its marketing strategies.

This includes Park In-bi, one of the world’s best female golf players who was recently selected to be a member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association. The company has helped Korea’s talented sports athletes demonstrate their talents worldwide.

The financial group has also sponsored a variety of sports ranging from golf and rhythmic gymnastics to swimming and badminton. Its sponsored players include Son Yeon-jae from rhythmic gymnastics and Lee Yong-dae from badminton.

The firm has also been putting in effort into sponsoring winter sports which need help financially. Starting with the famous figure skater Kim Yu-na, KB Financial Group has also financially backed bobsleighing and curling.

“One factor of sports marketing is to fully support young talents to focus on their performance,” said a bank official.
