American entertainment outlet TheWrap reported Tuesday that Jake Gyllenhal, Paul Dano, Kelly Macdonald and Bill Nighy, in addition to the recently cast Tilda Swinton, are set to join Bong’s new feature “Okja.”
Earlier last week, Swinton revealed during the Busan International Film Festival that she would reteam with Bong after their successful 2013 flick “Snowpiercer.”
“I’m already planning more adventures with Bong Joon-ho,” she said while promoting Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino’s “A Bigger Splash.” “He is a great master like Luca.”
“Okja” is a bilingual monster flick with a Korean female character lead set in Korea and New York City. Bong is planning to shoot the film early next year.
