K-pop star Lee Hyori shared a glimpse of herself on a date in the countryside with her singer-songwriter husband Lee Sang-soon through photos on Wednesday.

Lee released the photos, titled “Jongdal-ri date,” on her blog.

In a photo, the couple firmly hold hands against a blue door while smiling. In the other, they kiss each other.

“I live on the beautiful Jejudo Island, but I normally stay at home except when I walk my dogs. Sang-soon might have pitied me and asked me out to the east,” she wrote alongside the sweet photos.

The 35-year-old pop singer said that her life in the countryside kept her busier than most people think, which stopped the couple from venturing out to go on dates.

“I am often asked if living in a rural area is boring. In fact, it is not easy to do housework and raise eight dogs at the same time. Cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, walking dogs, farming, cooking and washing dishes again. My days are hectic. I don’t know how mothers with children do all this work,” she said.

“Thank you, Sang-soon, for our date,” she concluded.

The couple has been enjoying married life on Jejudo Island since they tied the knot in September 2013. Lee recently opened her blog to share her life with her fans.
