제시카 소녀시대 퇴출설에 휘말렸다.
30일 오전 소녀시대 제시카의 중국 SNS인 웨이보에는 “다가오는 공식 스케줄을 기대하며 준비하고 있었으나 회사와 8명으로부터 오늘부로 저는 소녀시대의 멤버가 아니다‘라는 통보를 받았다. 소녀시대 활동을 우선시하며 적극적으로 전념하고 있는데, 정당치 않은 이유로 이런 통보를 받아서 매우 당혹스럽다”라는 글이 올라왔다. 이 글은 영문과 한글로 작성됐다.
제시카의 웨이보 글은 온라인 커뮤니티와 SNS를 통해 일파만파 퍼졌고 팬들은 당혹스러움과 혼란에 빠졌다. 일부 팬들은 진위여부를 놓고 설왕설래 중이다. 대부분의 팬들이 SNS 계정 해킹 가능성을 제기하고 있다.
하지만 몇몇 팬들은 제시카가 타일러 권과의 결혼, 타일러 권과 패션브랜드 런칭 등을 놓고 소속사와 갈등을 빚다 결국 이번 일이 터진 게 아니냐는 추측을 내놓고 있다. 제시카 웨이보에 글이 올라온 후 무려 7시간이 지났지만 아직까지 제시카의 소속사인 SM엔터테인먼트는 공식 입장을 밝히지 않고 있어 의혹을 더하고 있다.
제시카 소식에 네티즌들은 “제시카 소녀시대 퇴출, 믿을 수 없다” “제시카 소녀시대 퇴출? 타일러권 때문인가” “제시카 소녀시대, 일주일 전만 해도 사이좋았는데” 등의 반응을 보였다. (khnews@heraldcorp.com)

Girls' Generation leaves for China without Jessica
K-pop idol group Girls’ Generation left for China on Tuesday without Jessica, backing up claims that she was forced out of the group by her label SM Entertainment.
Eight members of the group -- Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Yoona -- turned up at Incheon International Airport on Tuesday morning before flying to Shenzhen, China, to attend a fan meeting.
Jessica, however, was not sighted at the airport.
The other girls did not respond to any of the questions from the press as they walked in the airport.
Earlier in the day, a post was made on Jessica’s Weibo account, claiming that SM Entertainment had unilaterally dismissed her from the group without “any justifiable reason.”
“I was preparing myself for the upcoming schedule, but I was notified today that I am no longer a member of Girls’ Generation as of today,” the post made at around 5 a.m., Tuesday, read.
“I have put Girls’ Generation first and actively focused on our activities, but I was informed of such news. I am very perplexed,” it continued.
The news comes as a surprise since it was reported that all of the group’s nine members renewed their contracts with SM after their seven-year contract expired in August.
Shocked fans took to online communities to discuss whether the story was true or not.
Some fans even raised the possibility that Jessica’s Weibo account was hacked, but it remains to be seen as SM has yet to announce an official stance. The company could not be reached for comment.
