Island Resort Korea is planning to build “The Villa,” a luxurious gated community, within its world-class resort in Daebudo Island in the West Sea, according to the company.

The company said The Villa, which boasts spectacular views, is about 50 minutes by car from Seocho-dong, southern Seoul.

It will be surrounded by the resort’s 27-hole golf course and overlook the sea on three sides of the community, the company said.

Not only are the landscape and scenery a true gift of nature, but also the mud flat ozone and phytoncides from pine trees provide the desirable environment for healthy living it said.

“You will get an ocean view beyond the golf course from the living room and bedrooms, and even farther out see Incheon Bridge, the new city of Songdo and the Dangjin thermal power plant. As the sole luxury villa within the metropolitan area you will undergo an experience uncommon in Seoul,” said an Island Resort marketing official.

Over 94,082 square meters will house 413 residential units, offered as either towers or villas, the company announced.

The 14-story main tower will resemble Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Hotel where the top floor of two buildings will be connected and a swimming pool will be placed over the so-called “million-dollar view.”

Moreover, the lower floors of the tower will include a shopping district and various community facilities, including an emergency helipad and yachts for leisure.

“I take pride in being a devout Christian. I will practice transparent management with the mindset of sharing and community service,” said Island Resort CEO Kwon Oh-young.
