봉준호 감독의 '설국열차'가 개봉 12일만에 600만 관객을 넘어섰다.
‘설국열차’의 투자배급사 CJ엔터테인먼트는 영화 개봉 12일째인 11일 오전 0시 50분 기준, 누적관객 600만8천868명을 기록했다고 전했다.
영화는 개봉 이틀째 100만, 7일 만에 역대 최단기간 400만, 10일째 500만, 12일째 600만 명을 돌파하며 흥행 질주하고 있다.
또한 11일 정오를 기준, 40.4%으로 예매율 1위를 지키고 있다.
봉준호 감독과 송강호, 틸다 스윈튼, 에드 해리스, 크리스 에반스가 주연으로 출연하는 ‘설국열차’는 꽁꽁 얼어붙은 지구의 생존자들을 태운 불평등한 기차 안 상황을 기차의 앞쪽칸과 코리칸으로 나누어 보여준다.
기차 앞 칸에는 선택 받은 자들이, 기차 맨끝 코리칸에는 가지지 못한 자들이 폭동을 일으킬 계획을 한다.

Bong Jun-ho’s latest film, “Snowpiercer,” has attracted more than 6 million viewers in 12 days of opening, said its investment distribution company on Sunday.

The story of the movie is based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige.” The film shows the hierarchy existing on a train by dividing the train in to different sections: the poor living in the tail section and the elite in the front.
