The final two events to cap off the Pakistani Embassy’s series of cultural festivities celebrating the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and the South Asian nation will take place on Tuesday and on July 2.

The embassy’s penultimate cultural event, a photo exhibition depicting the ancient South Asian civilization of Ghandhara, takes place this Tuesday at the Korea Foundation Cultural Center Gallery in Seoul.

As its finale, the embassy is planning a festival of fresh mangoes and mango products for July 2 at a yet-to-be-determined five-star hotel to showcase the country’s agricultural sector.

The final two events cap a series of festivities since May celebrating bilateral diplomatic relations between Korea and Pakistan.

The very first was a cultural program in May organized with the support of the National Library for Children and Young Adults, which included a lecture by Pakistani Ambassador to Korea Shaukat Ali Mukadam, a video on Pakistan, activities with Pakistani children and traditional Pakistani food, as well as an interactive presentation of traditional songs and dances by five Pakistani university students studying in Korea.
