Girl group 2NE1 will be interviewed on “Facebook Live,” becoming the first Asian singers to be on the Internet show.
Currently in the U.S. for their global tour concert “NEW EVOLUTION,” 2NE1 will visit Facebook headquarters at 9 a.m. on Aug. 23 for a 45-minute interview which will be streamed live.
“Facebook Live” has carried out interviews with influential figures such as U.S. President Barak Obama, Madonna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Oprah Winfrey on a variety of issues.
2NE1 will talk about their first overseas concert “NEW EVOLUTION,” among other topics, during the interview. Fans all over the world will also be able to ask questions to 2NE1 through Facebook.
Michael Jackson’s former choreographer Travis Payne, Beyonce’s tour band leader Divinity Roxx and fashion designer Jeremy Scott are involved in the global tour which will make stops in 10 cities in seven countries through the end of the year.
