GIC extends Korean class to toddlers

Gwangju International Center begins its next round of Korean language courses on May 1, and this time is offering a special class for kids 3-6 years old.

Other courses include three levels of Saturday classes and four levels of weekday evening classes.

There are also beginner and intermediate classes on the Test of Proficiency in Korean on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, an intensive four evening a week course and courses featuring K-pop and dramas that run on Tuesday or Saturday afternoons.

Courses last seven weeks and deadline for registration is April 30. Saturday classes start May 12.

The cost of the courses varies from 50,000-150,000 won, depending on the number of classes per week.

The new children’s class is from 5-6 p.m. on Thursdays and costs 50,000 won.
