Hana Financial Group joined the 2026 Autism Race on Saturday, marking its seventh consecutive year supporting the event to raise autism awareness and promote inclusion, the company said Sunday.
About 100 employees and family members, including Hana Financial Vice Chairman Lee Eun-hyung, participated alongside runners with autism.
Organized by the Autism Society of Korea, the annual event seeks to foster greater understanding and acceptance of autism. Hana Financial has sponsored the race since 2020.
The group said it would donate all registration fees paid by its employees to the association to support people with autism.
"It is meaningful to take part in an effort to build a society where people understand and respect each other's differences," Lee said. "We will continue supporting people with autism and other members of society so they can grow together as respected members of the community."
Beyond the race, Hana Financial runs vocational training, education and employment programs for people with disabilities.
Its initiatives include digital career exploration classes for students with developmental disabilities, improvements to aging facilities, transportation assistance and rehabilitation equipment for children and adolescents with disabilities.
The group also provides job training and employment support for people with developmental and hearing disabilities.
