A video showing two elderly farmers stopping a bus to hand the driver produce from their farms has gone viral in South Korea.
The clip, posted on Instagram on Sept. 17, shows a bus traveling along a narrow country road in Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province, when an elderly man waiting by the roadside signals for it to stop.
With something in both hands, he steps onto the bus and gives the driver pears he had harvested.
"Try these," the man says before returning to his field.
Not long after, another elderly man stops the same bus, this time to give the driver eggplants he had grown himself.
"Have these as a side dish," he says as he hands them over.
The exchanges drew attention online.
"It's so touching to see them waiting for the bus just to share what they grew with the driver," one commenter wrote.
Another wrote, “He must treat them so well. He’s not a bus driver; he’s like a son to them.”
