KR Pass available at Incheon airport from March

KR Pass, a train pass that allows foreigners to travel on KORAIL trains for fixed lengths of time, will be sold at Incheon International Airport from March 1.

There are five kinds of KR Pass: one-day, three-day, five-day, seven-day and 10-day passes. During the specified number of days, foreigners may ride trains of their choice, including the express train KTX, and the Saemaeul and Mugunghwa trains. According to the Korea Railroad Corporation, which is selling the pass, the number of foreign passengers has increased 47.6 percent from 19,577 in 2012 to 28,893 in 2013. They expect more foreigners to buy the pass once they start sales at the Airport Railroad Travel Center, located between the Incheon Airport subway station and the airport terminals. Prices of KR Passes range from 58,200 won to 185,100 won depending on the number of days. The one-day pass for adults costs 58,200 won and 29,100 for children.
