Moonbyul of Mamamoo is set to drop her first solo studio album on Feb. 20, announced agency RBW Entertainment on Tuesday.

A motion logo for the LP “Starlit of Muse” accompanied the news, featuring a slew of symbols – from flowers to a turtle – that represent nine muses of music and art from Greek and Roman mythology.

The songstress launched an official fan club as a solo act last week, over nine years since she debuted as a member of Mamamoo. She toured eight cities in Asia with Solar as the subunit Mamamoo Plus, a first as a duo, until last month.

Her latest solo endeavor was the special single “The Present,” a three-track album from last month that marked her birthday. Her previous solo EP was “Cheese in the Trap” from April 2022.

Daesung of Big Bang will greet his fans in Seoul on March 16-17, said agency R&D Company on Tuesday.

It will be the first time he is holding a fan meet in Korea as a solo musician.

Since he established his own management firm last year, he has resumed his solo career by participating in the original soundtrack for a variety show, and by dropping the special single “Flow,” a remake of the 2012 hit song from Lee Hancheol.

He also announced that he will embark on fan meet tour in Japan in April, visiting 10 cities around the country for 15 concerts. He toured four cities in the country in June last year, performing live in Japan for the first time in six years on his own.

Ateez uploaded a batch of photographs for its upcoming third single in Japan “Not Okay” on Monday.

The eight members each strike pose for the camera in individual portraits for the album that will be fronted by the titular track that tells listeners to make their own decisions instead of being a pushover.

Their previous single “Limitless” from March last year topped Oricon’s daily singles chart and ranked No. 2 on the weekly singles ranking.

The new single will be out on Feb. 28.

Meanwhile, the group is poised to hit the stage at Saitama Super Arena Feb. 3-4. The two-day gig is part of Ateez's international tour “Towards the Light: Will to Power” that begins in Seoul next week. All tickets are sold out, but the second day’s live show will be livestreamed through Wowwow.

SeolA of WJSN held a media showcase in Seoul on Tuesday, marking her debut as a solo singer.

She came out with the single “Inside Out” and admitted that she has been under pressure as the first from the group to go solo.

“Coming up on the stage for the showcase without the members made me nervous,” she confessed, adding that she was very anxious as she did not want to have any negative effect on her “home” called WJSN.

The group is soon to celebrate its eighth debut anniversary, and the bandmates know each other really well and are staying really close, she said. But while preparing for the album, she realized how lucky she was to have them.

“They were very supportive, and knowing my character, took care of me without being too obvious,” said SeolA, adding that she was touched.
