Super Junior’s Siwon and Secret’s Sunhwa were officially proclaimed the spokesmodels of the 11th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival Tuesday at a press conference at the Conrad Hotel in Seoul.

The two Hallyu stars were chosen for their extensive cultural influence both in Korea and around the world, stemming from their successful careers in both music and acting. 

“I’m so happy that I can experience music and film, two things I am passionate about, through this film festival,” said Sunhwa. “I’m honored to be the spokesmodel for this wonderful festival.” 

“I hope that we’ll see many more great works that let us enjoy music and film at once, and that the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will continue its huge success,” said Siwon. 

As spokesmodels, they will promote the festival and its purpose.

The 11th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will take place this year from Aug. 13-18 in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province. It will screen a total of 101 films from 25 countries, beginning with “Try to Remember” from director Kim Dae-hyun.
