Acoustic and drum duo 10cm, one of the indie music scene’s most successful acts, will release its latest full-length album titled “3.0” on Nov. 19.

According to press agency I-Je Company on Tuesday, the indie hipsters Kwon Jung-yeol and Yoon Cheol-jong are finally ready to release their third album after unveiling their new singles at a special “teaser concert” at the end of August.

After the conclusion of the beloved acoustic duo’s sold-out, two-day performances, the members claimed that the track that received the most hype from audience members will be selected as the album’s lead single.

The upcoming album not only marks the group’s first full-length album release in two years, but will also be Kwon and Yoon’s first release since joining indie music label Magic Strawberry Sound.

Officials from the singers’ label said that this time around, fans can expect to hear a new twist on 10cm’s classic folk sound along with the duo sporting a new, more sophisticated look.

As one of the country’s most popular non-K-pop acts, Kwon and Yoon are best known for their distinctive acoustic folk vibe with their signature djembe ― a skin-covered drum ― backbeat coupled with Kwon’s soulful and nasally lead vocals. Last year the band took its first plunge in introducing its music to audiences outside the peninsula and began holding small concerts in Japan and Taiwan.

After its initial baby steps with the small-scale small Asia performances, 10cm continued its international trek by performing in front of a Western audience for the first time with a live concert in Los Angeles last year.

To commemorate the upcoming album, 10cm will hold a handful of concerts in Seoul and Busan next month, just in time for the holiday season. The band’s first two shows will be held at the Sohyang Musical Center Busan on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day before the two head back to Seoul for five consecutive shows starting from Dec. 26.
