EXO, an idol group with one of the largest fan followings in K-pop, will put on the group’s first concert since its debut nearly two years ago.

In celebration of the group’s two-year anniversary, the 12 members of EXO will hold their first full concert at the Olympic Park’s Gymnastics Stadium on May 24-25. According to representatives at SM Entertainment, EXO will also hold concerts in other major cities across Asia.

EXO is scheduled to release its newest EP on April 15, and host a special showcase, “EXO Comeback Show,” at Jamsil Indoor Stadium the same day.

Although the group will promote its new album separately in Korea and China through subunit groups EXO-K and EXO-M, the upcoming showcase and solo concerts will combine the two to feature all 12 members.

With the group’s debut album “XOXO (Kiss & Hug)” and its later released “XOXO (Kiss & Hug) Repackage” album, the young members of EXO made their way into record books and joined the elusive “1 million club,” becoming the first act in 12 years to sell more than a million copies of an album. EXO’s upcoming EP will mark the popular group’s first release since it unveiled its first Christmas album last December and swept all of the major music sites in Korea.

Tickets for the upcoming concerts in Seoul will go on sale on April 16 and can be purchased online at Gmarket.
