A company tracking online traffic patterns said Egypt‘s 100 most-frequently visited websites include five porn sites.

Alexa, a division of Amazon.com, released the list amid an order last week by Egypt’s prosecutor general for the ministries of telecommunications, interior and information to begin enforcing a ban on Internet pornography, al-Arabiya reported Wednesday.

The company said the porn sites rank at numbers 15, 23, 29, 67 and 83 on the list of the 100 most visited sites in the country.

Meanwhile, Alexa revealed seven porn sites appear in the Top 100 in Tunisia and five sites appear on the list for Lebanon. (UPI)

온라인 트래픽 패턴을 추적하는 한 업체가 이집트에서 가장 방문객이 많은 웹사이트 100개를 선정한 결과 다섯 군데가 음란 사이트인 것으로 나타났다.

세계적 온라인 쇼핑업체 아마존닷컴의 지부인 알렉사(Alexa)는 지난주 이집트 검찰총장의 지시로 이 리스트를 만들어 공개했고, 이를 바탕으로 인터넷 음란물에 대한 단속을 시작할 것이라고 현지 언론 알아라비야가 수요일 보도했다.

알렉사에 따르면 이 음란물 웹사이트들은 각각 15위, 23위, 29위, 67위, 83위에 오른 것으로 알려졌다.

한편 알렉사는 튀니지와 레바논의 탑100 웹사이트 또한 분석해 각각 7군데, 5군데의 음란물 사이트에 이에 랭크됐다고 밝혔다. (코리아헤럴드)
