A 12-year-old boy was arrested for sexually molesting a woman, police said Wednesday.
The boy, whose identity was withheld, allegedly followed a 28-year-old woman and assaulted her on April 28, according to the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency.
The accused attempted to flee the scene when the victim started screaming, but was caught by a passer-by and handed over to police.
Police said the alleged attacker will not be taken into custody because he is a minor, and instead will be sent to family court.

그러나 A군은 B씨가 비명을 지르기 시작하자 범행을 멈추고 도주하다 한 공익요원에게 붙잡혀 경찰에 넘겨졌다.
갓 초등학교를 졸업한 A군은 키 176cm의 건장한 체격이라고 알려졌다.
경찰은 A군이 만 14세 미만으로 형사미성년자인 점을 감안해 입건하지 않고 가정법원으로 송치하기로 했다.
