The Seoul Global Business Support Center, Gangnam office, will hold a site tour and offer a Korean language course taught by a popular local broadcaster.

The site tour of the Seoul International Sourcing Fair at the COEX center will take place on Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On the same day, the center will stop taking applications for foreign businesspeople interested in advancing their Korean business language skills and perfect their professional presentations about their products or other business matters.

The language course is free of charge and will focus on perfecting proper pronunciation of Korean words and phrases which will in turn help build confidence when presenting oneself to Korean clients.

The course will be taught by former KBS announcer Min Ku-hee every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the center in COEX.

This year’s SIPREMIUM fair is attracting more than 200 companies such as designers and manufacturers to show their products to the Korean market.

“The tour will be an exceptional opportunity to find unique items and to get the feel for the global trend relating to the gift and homeware industry,” said Simon Hong, director of at the COEX Seoul Global Business Support Center.

After lunch, the tour will continue at Bangsan market, Cheong Wa Dae Sarangchae, Namdaemun Market and Myeong-dong to showcase “essential business tips.”

For those who are interested, call (02) 6001-7243 by today to receive the appropriate registration form for the site tour while the deadline for the Korean language lesson is on Feb. 24.
