[Herald Interview] S&P economist tells Korea to brace for worst-case scenario with China
The country’s largest tire maker Hankook Tire is launching a safety campaign and a social contribution campaign, both of which will run until the end of the year, from Monday.
In the safety campaign, the company’s employees will show customers visiting sales outlets tire-related safety tips that are specific to different seasons of the year.
In addition, those purchasing selected products ― Ventus S1 evo, Ventus V12 evo, XQ Optimo Nova and Ventus ME01 ― will be provided with 2-year guarantees. Those taking part in the campaign will also be given a chance to enter a prize draw.
Along with the safety campaign, the company is operating a social contribution event in which the company will donate 1,000 won (90 cents) on behalf of each customer taking part in the event. The donations will be given to a non-governmental organization supporting underprivileged children at the end of the year.
