BTS tops record 2b Spotify streams with ‘Dynamite’
BTS amassed 2 billion streams on Spotify with “Dynamite,” said label Big Hit Music Tuesday citing the platform’s data from Saturday. The 2020 mega hit is the first K-pop song to achieve the feat. The digital single has set a series of records on the platform as a K-pop tune: debuting atop its Daily Top Songs Global and reaching the one-billion-mark for the first time, as well as generating the most plays on its day of release. Stray Kids to host fan meetup next month
Stray Kids announced its fifth official fan meetup Wednesday via label JYP Entertainment. Fifty Fifty makes Billboard's best new Christmas song list
Fifty Fifty’s first season song was chosen as one of Billboard's "25 Best New Christmas Songs of 2024: Staff Picks,” agency Attract said Monday. “Naughty or Nice” is a combination of “fun K-pop with snazzy retro jazz vibes” and “a pace-changing banger that finds the girl group taking a page out of Santa Claus’ book and asking the eternal question: Are you naughty or nice?” wrote the American publication.
