Search continues for alleged gunman Stanley Turvey

A man on the run-in regional Victoria has allegedly been involved in an armed robbery in the state's north-east. Stanley Turvey is believed to be travelling in a stolen Toyota Hilux Ute - with the registration 1-R-A-8-A-N - following the robbery in Yarrawonga this morning. He's on the run after he allegedly fired a gun and evaded authorities at a Katandra west property yesterday. A police car rolled off the road during the subsequent pursuit. Mr Turvey is also alleged to have kidnapped a man forcing him to drive to New South Wales. Members of the public are warned not to approach Mr Turvey or his vehicle.
