‘This Is For’ world tour spanned 20 cities and 35 shows from January to April
Twice has drawn approximately 550,000 fans across its North American tour leg, setting a new record for the most concert attendees by a K-pop girl group in the region.
The run, part of the group's ongoing world tour "This Is For," spanned 20 cities and 35 shows from January through April 18, when the tour concluded in Austin — the group's largest-ever North American outing.
Originally scheduled for 22 shows across 20 cities, the tour expanded to 35 dates after tickets sold out rapidly. Additional shows were added in Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland, Dallas, Washington, DC, Belmont Park, Hamilton, Orlando, Boston, Chicago and Austin, with two extra dates added in Los Angeles.
The tour featured a 360-degree stage open to all seating sections, giving audiences an immersive concert experience. Highlights included solo stages from individual members and performances of tracks from the group's 14th EP "Strategy," which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as songs from the Netflix original soundtrack "KPop Demon Hunters," including "Strategy" and "Takedown."
Twice is now set to make further history in Japan, where it will perform three shows at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo on April 25, 26 and 28 — becoming the first overseas act ever to headline the venue as a solo artist. The stadium holds up to 80,000 spectators per show.
The group has steadily scaled up its Japan presence since 2018, graduating from halls and arenas to becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform three consecutive nights at Tokyo Dome in 2022.
It has since headlined Osaka's Yanmar Stadium Nagai, Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium, Nagoya's Vantelin Dome and Fukuoka's PayPay Dome, before becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Japan's largest, Nissan Stadium, in 2024.
