Main Ingredients:

6 shiitake mushrooms (150 grams)

1/2 onion

1/2 green onion

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Cooking oil

Sesame seeds

Red chili pepper (or 1/2 Cheongyang chili)

2 bowls of cooked rice

Sauce Ingredients:

1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oligosaccharide (or substitute with corn syrup)

1 tablespoon cooking wine

1/2 tablespoon sugar

1/2 tablespoon sesame oil

A pinch of black pepper

Instructions:

Remove the stems from the shiitake mushrooms and slice them. Slice the onion and separate the white and green parts of the green onion, then thinly slice. Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Heat cooking oil in a pan and stir-fry the minced garlic and white parts of the green onion until aromatic.

Add the mushrooms and onions, then stir-fry with the sauce until reduced.

Turn off the heat, add the green parts of the green onion and drizzle with sesame oil.

Serve over rice, garnished with sesame seeds and red chili pepper.
