Mad for Garlic is Korea’s first wine and garlic specialty restaurant which broke ground by featuring garlic as its main ingredient as well as incorporating it into its brand name.

As an interest in health is growing and health benefits of garlic have been proven, Mad for Garlic’s dishes have gained a cult following.

Rather than using a central kitchen system, the entire cooking process starts with raw materials in the kitchen of each branch to bring the freshest food to the table. As an Italian wine bistro, Mad for Garlic offers more than 40 garlic-based Italian dishes along with 100 various kinds of wines and beverages in a cozy ambience.

Mad for Garlic owns 28 domestic branches under direct management as of December and operates four overseas outlets.

The restaurant chain opened its first overseas branch at Suntec City Mall in Singapore in 2010. Since then, Mad for Garlic has been ramping up global efforts with its second overseas branch, in Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, in April 2011, third in Singapore’s Clarke Quay district in June 2012, and fourth in Fort Bonifacio in Manila in February 2013.
