[THE INVESTOR] South Korean electronics maker, LG Electronics said Sept. 29 that it plans to supply 1,050 large video screens to the Orlando International Airport.

LG said 350 commercial video screens will be installed at the Orlando airport for way-finding from the check-in areas to concessions and other conveniences to security checkpoints.

About 700 videowall screens will be installed at the airport to create a huge digital display wall behind airline counters, LG said.

“The massive Orlando videowall represents an amazing display of innovation to transform the airport experience, setting a new standard for transportation information displays around the world,” Clark Brown, vice president of LG’s US unit, said in a separate statement.

The Orlando airport serves more than 41 million travelers each year, it said.
