“Baek is responsible for the company’s high performance and has the right management qualities to lead its sustainable growth,” the company said in a press release. Jaguar Land Rover sold 6,664 units in 2014 and achieved an average of 40 percent growth over the past five years.

Baek started his career at Kia Motors in 1990 as the overseas salesperson and moved to marketing and customer service division before joining the British luxury carmaker in 2000.
