The five starlets of 4minute, with many buzzing about HyunA’s attention-grabbing, see-through miniskirt and the group’s new sexy choreography, made their return official with their fifth EP, “4minute World,” on Monday.

The group performed the title track “Whatcha Doin’ Today” for the first time at a showcase held on the Garden Stage at Lotte World Monday night. The single was composed and written by popular hit-making producer Brave Brothers and reached No. 1 on nine local real-time charts, including Mnet, Naver, Bugs and Soribada.

The newly unveiled EP features five tracks and follows the group’s previous EP “Name Is 4minute,” released April last year.

“You will be able to see a lot of different sides to us in this new album ... we even perform in our own unit groups,” the members explained during the showcase.

The pop track “Let You Know” is performed by trio Jihyun, Jiyoon and Sohyun while R&B single “Come In” is performed by Gayoon and HyunA. The album also includes a playful track about cooking, “Wait a Minute,” as well as a tribute single titled “Thank You :),” a love song with lyrics written in part by Sohyun and HyunA.

“This is actually the first time for us to do a showcase like this so we’re really touched that you all came out to see us today,” the group said before going on to perform past hits including “What’s Your Name?” “Muzik,” “Heart to Heart” and even taking fans back to its debut days with its first single, “Hot Issue.”
