Stand Up Seoul will host stand-up comedian Kyle Kinane at Roofers Bar in Itaewon on Oct. 7-8.

Kinane has recently appeared on Conan O’Brien and Last Call with Carson Daly and last year released the comedy album “Death of the Party.”

He is the third comedian Stand Up Seoul have brought to the country, after Ted Alexandro in 2010 and Tom Cotter in 2009.

Erin Weber, who will host the Friday show, says the event is a great opportunity for those who are part of the emerging stand-up scene in Seoul.

“The thing about Korea, it’s a small place. Comedy just started here. Actually there was no comedy here in 2008, it started in 2009,” she explained.

“It’s really kinda incredible because we probably wouldn’t get to just open for someone like this (otherwise), so we’re excited.”

Albert Escobedo and Adam Palmeter will also perform on Oct. 7. The Saturday show will be hosted by Rudy Tyburczy and Daniel Kennedy, while Jeff Sinclair will provide the opening acts.

Tickets are 30,000 won including one drink. Doors open at 10 p.m. For reservations email standupseoul@gmail.com or call (010) 8893-8764.
