Incheon International Airport Corp. said Friday it showcased its smart airport technologies at Asia’s largest airport trade show this week, in a bid to win new markets and grow its business abroad.

The state-run operator joined Super Terminal Expo 2026, held in Hong Kong from Tuesday through Thursday, where some 120 global brands from about 60 countries and around 6,000 aviation industry professionals gathered.

At a joint booth with partner companies, themed around artificial intelligence and advanced technology, IIAC spotlighted five solutions chosen for their global competitiveness and near-term export potential.

Developed in-house were A-DMA, which assesses how far an airport has progressed in its digital transformation, and ATOM, which uses AI to manage airport infrastructure operations.

The other three, co-developed with private partners, include an advanced visual docking guidance system that steers aircraft to their gates, common-use check-in and baggage reconciliation systems, and a smart baggage scale.

"STE 2026 showcased ‘Team Korea,’ pairing Incheon Airport’s operating know-how with private-sector innovation," said acting President Kim Beom-ho. "We will help promising companies expand overseas under our brand and turn into an export platform that wins real contracts."

The company also presented case studies on airport operational innovation at the expo’s official conference and joined an executive forum to build ties with senior aviation figures across Asia.

At the STE Awards held alongside the expo, IIAC won the Best Terminal Innovation & Passenger Flow category for the second consecutive year. The award recognizes its AI- and data-driven work in improving passenger experience and terminal operations, according to the company.
