Visitors watch a traditional “nakhwa” display, in which sparks cascade from suspended bundles, at Yeogang Wharf near Silleuksa temple in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, on Sunday during the Yeoju Ogoknaru Festival.
The festival featured local agricultural products, food stalls, performances and activities inspired by Joseon-era traditions. Its name combines “ogok,” meaning five staple grains, and “naru,” meaning a riverside landing.
