Hanwha Asset Management has deployed its proprietary artificial intelligence platform, Odin, companywide to help employees analyze markets and manage client relationships, the firm said Monday.
Built on Anthropic’s Claude and Hanwha’s own technology and infrastructure, Odin draws on more than 300 information sources spanning politics, economics, culture, society and technology. It processes about 60,000 news articles daily, alongside more than 100,000 research materials and YouTube reports, plus Korean and overseas regulatory filings.
The platform links this information to market and company data to identify trends that could inform investment decisions.
Odin has two main functions: market intelligence and sales management. The market intelligence service combines stock market data and product information with AI-generated analysis. It uses web searches to compile reports on market conditions, news, regulations and outlooks, while a trend-tracking tool monitors emerging social, economic and industry themes.
The sales management service turns records of client interactions into dashboards showing client interests, needs and changes in relationships.
Odin processes general market data, news and research in the cloud, while keeping sensitive information, including confidential sales data, on internal infrastructure.
Hanwha plans to develop personalized AI agents for employees and launch a portal for limited partners in the first half of next year, providing real-time information on their investments.
“Odin is not a platform designed simply to accumulate more information, but one that uses AI to identify changes in markets and clients and turn them into inputs for organizational decision-making,” said Im Dong-jun, CEO of Hanwha Asset Management.
