Nepalese people living in South Korea light candles to honor the victims of Nepal's recent flash floods during a memorial ceremony in Seoul on Saturday afternoon.

More than 1,200 people have been killed and over 4,000 remain missing across northern Nepal after a glacial collapse and avalanche-triggered flash floods and mudslides along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river valleys near the Nepal-Tibet border, causing widespread destruction to settlements and infrastructure, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
