Ingredients:

  • 200 grams taro
  • 30 grams glutinous rice flour (2 tablespoons)
  • 30 grams cake flour (2 tablespoons)
  • 120 grams sweet red bean paste
  • 40 grams walnuts
  • 30 grams sugar (2 tablespoons)
  • A little salad oil

Instructions:

Wash the taro thoroughly, steam it in a steamer, peel it and then press it through a sieve. Roast the walnuts in a frying pan and chop them finely.

Mix the sieved taro with sugar, glutinous rice flour and cake flour. mix the chopped walnuts with the sweet red bean paste. Divide the taro mixture into 50-gram portions and the red bean paste into 35 g portions.

Flatten a portion of the taro mixture, place a portion of the red bean paste in the center, and shape it into a ball.

Coat a frying pan with a little oil, place the balls in the pan, press them slightly with a pancake press, and cook over low heat until golden brown, flipping occasionally.
