Boy group Oneus returned Tuesday with the new album “Dear.M,” dedicated to their fandom, To Moon.

The album includes 17 tracks, combining rerecordings of the group’s iconic hits and four new songs. Among the new tracks is the main song “IKUK” (I Know You Know), a reworked version of their final performance song on Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace” last year. Known for its funky and groovy sound, the track captures the irresistible allure of a vampire’s deadly temptation, showcasing Oneus’ vocals.

Also among the new songs are “We Are Young,” a celebration of endless youth; “Devilish Love,” a story of an all-consuming romance; and “W,” a heartfelt tribute to someone who has always been there. The fan song “Rupert’s Drop” adds an emotional touch to the album.

The album reflects Oneus’ gratitude and connection to their fans.

“During our ‘Road to Kingdom’ final performance, there were no fans in the audience, so they couldn’t experience the stage. We wanted to give them this album as a gift, and we made sure to include songs that express our feelings for them,” member Keonhee said Tuesday in Seoul during a round interview for the album.

“We’ve explored various concepts through our competitions, including a vampire-themed universe, which fans loved. That’s why we decided to revisit this concept in the album,” Xion added.

The group discussed their journey on “Road to Kingdom,” where they competed for the second time, coming in second.

“I wanted more people to see how talented we are as a team. When the next season of ‘Road to Kingdom’ was discussed, I looked at Hwanwoong and said, ‘Should we do this again? It could be fun,’” said Keonhee, who reportedly advocated for their return to the show.

“We gained so much from both competitions. It was a challenge and an opportunity for growth. But it was also incredibly difficult. I don’t think there will be a third time,” Seoho said.

While the group aimed for victory, Keonhee expressed contentment with the journey.

“Our goal was to win, and while we didn’t, the experience was invaluable. Seeing how much our fans cared about the outcome showed us we were doing something right. We left everything on stage, and that’s what truly matters,” Keonhee said.

As the group prepares for upcoming album releases and concerts, members also addressed impending military enlistments. Seoho, born in 1996, is expected to enlist this year.

“When the country calls, I’ll go with a sense of duty and return even stronger,” Seoho said. “Please don’t worry; I’ll come back ready to show a more mature version of myself.”

Regarding contract renewals, Keonhee reassured fans.

“Whatever decisions we make about re-signing or our activities during military service, they will be about preserving Oneus as a team. We are committed to staying together and continuing to create meaningful moments with To Moon,” Keonhee said.

Oneus will conclude its second world tour, “La Dolce Vita,” with final performances at Sejong University’s Daeyang Hall in Seoul on Feb. 1-2.
