Korea to redesign Surion chopper for export
[THE INVESTOR] South Korea will redesign the parts of its Surion helicopter that would allow it to be sold to overseas customers, the military and manufacturer said Sept. 23.In a months-long test conducted in Michigan, the Surion utility helicopter also called the KUH-1 failed to operate properly under a set of very challenging humid and freezing temperatures. Korean Air agrees to provide 60 bln won loan to Hanjin Shipping
[THE INVESTOR] Korean Air Lines, the largest shareholder of Hanjin Shipping, On Sept. 21 approved plans to provide 60 billion won (US$58.9 million) to the cash-strapped shipper.The company had initially refused to help out the troubled affiliate citing the lack of collateral Hanjin Shipping could offer.
