A species of turtles endemic to freshwater lakes in south-west WA is facing its biggest challenge- the drying of lakes coupled with the threat of feral foxes. A Perth wildlife group has collected a graveyard of almost 100 turtle shells from a lake bed in Bibra Lake, and are calling for help to protect the species from extinction.
