A cashless society was almost a reality this long weekend as money transport company Armaguard teetered on the edge of collapse. The company has refused a financial lifeline and says it can continue operations for now. But the resulting turmoil has exposed the trouble Australia faces if physical money suddenly stops moving around the country.
